Thank you Robin. Yet again NZ'ers are asleep at the wheel. Bar those in Southland who are speaking up. Another lack of 'informed consent' - who is really pulling the strings in NZ? Certainly not govt and big corporates are just about pillage and profit and greed.

Yes, there were several hundred at the meeting last Wednesday. Supposedly, the period for lodging objections to the project has expired, but the councils involved were secret squirreling the details previous to this timeframe. Obviously obeying "orders from above."

Thanks RT. Of course the period for lodging objections to the project would have expired! Councils complicit with the 'powers above' as you say. Despicable. You know it really is time for NZers to wake up and take a stand. Otherwise we will not have a NZ that is for its citizens, it will be owned by all offshore investors. We farmed for years in Southland, many of my relatives there still do.
