Russia shooting down the plane? They could have disabled the plane and bomb with an equivalent technology alerting Israel to the fact that Russia wouldn't tolerate their mission. The plane flew "blindly" home with their instrumentation blacked out: Russia's already done so in the Mediterranean near the Black Sea with U.S. forces years ago. The U.S. Navy was freaked out.

The S-400 capability is quite demonstrated as, not great. To be very kind.
BTW smashing a nuke at altitude would be detectable in the form of the toxic fissile material detectable by several means.
Israeli F-35s have recently operated over Iran (recon) and were not detected by either the S-300 or S-400 systems. And the nuke thing.... ludicrous.
I don't understand why Israel will use a PLANE to do an EMP over Iran (assuming that was its intention).
