After 22 years this interview with John Pilger is still cringeworthy
This 2001 interview stands in my memory as one of the worst I have ever w watched.
However, in hindsight, everything in journalism has got worse -much worse.
However, Kim Hill showed the way.

John Pilger was completely on task/on song, and Kim Hill was/is a Western Alliance propagandist, as she has proved with her support on vax mandates (sometimes quite fierce/vicious), the Western Alliance stance on Ukraine and now the stance on Gaza. I hope she went before she was pushed. I stopped listening to her seriously years ago, when I realised how much she was always backing the "party line". She is one of the reasons I consider Radio NZ to be legacy media and no longer to be trusted.
